Many of our clients come to us when setting up or expanding their businesses. We are able to save them substancial amounts of money by supplying second hand alternatives to the expensive new options. We are also in a position to either purchase or enter any unwanted catering equipment into our regular Auctions. In these dealings we visit premises and are happy to recommend some of the best: We obviously take into consideration the kitchens when recommending any restaurant

DORSET BLUEBERRY COMPANY

have opened a new farm shop. Packed to the hilt with blueberrys you might think, but that wasn't the case. We visited last week and came away with freshly baked bread, English strawberrys, and some wonderful fresh vegetablesas well as some English cheeses and the nearest I came to blueberries was Blueberry and Apple juice....delicious. They were very obliging and the lady infront of me bought just two eggs, so looks like they're versatile too. The stock was new and interesting, there were things I hadn't tasted and plenty of samples to try. Good luck Dorset Blueberry

HOW ABOUT A YURT THEN

Hey fancy a Yurt, go on ask....What is a Yurt? A yurt is one of those romantic tent type things the middle eastern sheiks might have. I think they started in Russia though very exotic. Check it out www.dorsetyurts.co.uk

TWENTY ON THE RIVER

We had a superb evening at Twenty on the river, the staff were friendly and attentive. Considering it was an organised event we expected the food to have been just okay, but we were pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail. There was a band and the dance floor certainly got plenty of use. We were so impressed that we went for lunch the following week, and were not disappointed. I had a Caesar salad, boring you might think, but very enjoyable. Oh yes, and the Extra dry vodka martini isto die for...bon appetite

INN ON THE QUAY Tel 01202 785627

wow, we really enjoyed our evening at The Inn on the Quay restaurant in Poole, it is located on the quay in Poole and has a superb view from its first floor restaurant. Diners have the choice of eating casually or if you feel like pushing the boat out so to speak, you can dine in style. We chose the second option, and were not disappointed. With the celebrated head chef Nigel Popperwell cooking up a storm and overseeing every aspect of the meal each course was delicious both to look at and to eat . The service was friendly and accommodating....certainly worth a visit, but remember Fridays and Saturday nights around the Quay are very busy, so plan your parking. Oh yes they are open Sundays as well. Reservations are necessary for the fine dining, but the bar and casual eating are walk-in friendly.

WELL WORTH A DATE AT CALENDARS Tel 01202 738308
We decided to try a meal at Tower Park. It was a spontaneous thought and we tried TGF and were told there was a 45 minute wait WHAT! there were spare tables and it didn't seem that busy, however the waitress did try to get us to go in the bar and wait, seems to me it's a ploy to get customers to spend in the bar before beng seated. We hadn't got that sort of time and decided to give it a miss.(as did two other couples behind us), we passed Kentucky, which, as a sign of the times was totally empty and then ended up in CALENDARS. We were seated, offered drinks within minutes. We had a charming waitress and just as pleasant waiter. The food was exceptionally good and we were both highly impressed. We had never been to Calendars, always thought it was soso, but we had a very pleasant evening and will definately go back.

Have you tried a HOG ROAST well we did. We ordered one for a family function. It was terrific. We contacted Richard 'The Flying Chef' and he arrived true to his word with his own specifically designed spit roast trailer laden with a fully prepared hog-on-spit ready to be roasted on site. He stayed and served the roast along with Jacket potatoes and salad. Both Richard and his hog were a hit with everyone. You can reach him on 07384 421276.
